Brisbane Bangla Radio strives to present information, news items, interviews, current affairs, songs, drama, poem recitation which are intended to provide unadorned infotainment to the listeners.  All Bangla Radio broadcasters agree to comply with the Australian Communications and Media Authority Code of Conduct.  In addition, the broadcasters also follow the Bangla Radio Programming Guidelines to ensure wider acceptance by all our listeners.

     Programming Guidelines

  • The program duration is strictly 45 minutes

  • Allow 1 minute for the title music

  • Allow 1 minute for the closing music

  • Allow 3 minutes for 4EB announcements

  • Play Radio 4EB station IDs every 15 minutes during the program

  • If your presentation date is close to any national days (Independence day, Victory day etc.), religious festivity days (Eid day, Eid-e Miladunnabi, Durga puja, Buddha purnima etc.), or any special occasions days (New Year's day, Rabindra joyonti, Nazrul joyonti etc.) please present special features commemorating the day

  • Maximise the Bangladeshi content of your program

  • The talk time should be at least half of the total time

  • AVOID any controversial issues which could hurt the feelings of an individual or a group

  • While organising your program, think of not just yourself but your audience. The success of your program depends upon how it has been accepted by the listeners.
